OVERVIEW;
Join Issie (The Everyday Creative) at Claire’s House for a relaxed, informal Art Club designed for grown-ups who want to pause, play and reconnect with their creativity.
What to expect;
Gentle guided warm-ups to loosen up and quieten the inner critic.
Simple creative exercises using a mix of conventional and not-so-conventional(!) art materials.
Informal exploration responding to a seasonal still life — no pressure, no expectation for a finished-product.
Time to chat, drink tea, and enjoy biscuits in good company.
Why come?;
Challenge perfectionism and calm a busy mind.
Build creative confidence through playful practice.
Step away from screens and daily demands for some restorative breathing space.
All levels welcome — no experience necessary. My motto: you do not need to be good at art for art to be good for you.
Join us for a calm, informal evening of creative play designed to soothe the busy mind, challenge perfectionism, and gently build your creative confidence. Each session starts with short, guided warm-up exercises from Issie to help you loosen up, quieten inner chatter, and embrace playful experimentation with both conventional and unexpected art materials. After the warm-up, you’ll have time for relaxed exploration as you respond to a seasonal still life; plus time to chat, drink tea & eat biscuits!
This is not about producing a polished finished piece or following a strict lesson plan. It’s about the experience: stepping away from screens and daily demands to refill your creative cup and reconnect with curiosity.
No experience required—my motto: you don’t have to be good at art for art to be good for you!
- Book early to save your spot — spaces are limited & tend to go very quickly!
Please Note;
-Claire's House Cafe will not be open but Issie will be making cups of tea and providing biscuits! (included in the price of your ticket)
-This workshop is run at Claire’s House Pottery where there may be other clay workshops / pottery painting going on…adding to the creative buzz & atmosphere!
-Just bring yourself — materials are provided. Wear something you don’t mind potentially getting a little messy!
